Description:

Create and develop 3D models and layouts in Solidworks. Projects include machinery or equipment as stand-alone units or part of integrated projects that include all mounting and piping requirementsDevelop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, structures, mounting and piping. Drawings include dimensions, specifications, material and fabrication notes and instructionsCoordinate and collaborate with other engineers and Project Managers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and trouble shoot customer issues and installation crew modificationsRead and understand customer indication drawings and interpret specifications, sketches and information that affect component or system designDesign for manufacturing and collaborate with fabrication to develop designs capable of being manufactured on site or through 3rd partiesDevelop sheet metal designs and create and modify burn programs using sheet metal nesting softwareTravel to customer site as required to perform pre-engineering measurements and calculations for engineering design or project quotationsFamiliarity with bill of material creation and equipment list maintenance using CAD programs, spreadsheets, or ERP system.
